Storm-damaged & fallen trees
Wind events, microbursts and storm fronts that drop limbs across roads, carparks, footpaths, fences and rooflines — cleared, chipped and made safe.

Storm response, hazard trees, site clean-up, traffic-managed callouts and after-hours environmental works across South East Queensland — certified crews dispatched from four operational depots, subject to availability.
When a tree splits across a council road at 4:30am, when a ute reverses through a shopping centre garden bed on a Saturday, or when a storm front drops half a dozen hazards across a council asset list overnight — the contractor that answers the phone is the one that gets the work.
Rivercity Environmental runs reactive crews out of four SEQ depots — Slacks Creek, Lawnton, Molendinar and Bundamba — with certified arborists, EWP and climbing capability, traffic management and a back-end fleet of vac, water and grounds units. We’re built for the calls that come in on a Wednesday morning and need to be on site that day.
Every reactive job runs to the same paperwork our scheduled programmes run on: site-specific SWMS, photos in and out, GPS-tagged findings and a short report back to council, the asset owner or the insurer. The urgency doesn’t change the standard — it just compresses the timeline.
Eight scenarios our reactive crews respond to across council, commercial, civil and property sites — subject to crew availability on the day.
Wind events, microbursts and storm fronts that drop limbs across roads, carparks, footpaths, fences and rooflines — cleared, chipped and made safe.
Split unions, cracked limbs, leaning stems, dieback and structural failure flagged by inspections, residents or facility teams — assessed and removed where required.
Cars into garden beds, fences and street trees, scraped corners, broken signage and damaged irrigation — site made safe and presentation restored.
Vacant lot clean-ups, overgrown easements, illegal dumping, fire-fuel reduction and one-off vegetation clearance ahead of works or inspections.
Sight-line clearance, encroachment trimming, weed flare-ups and unscheduled mowing on parks, verges and easements between programmed visits.
Trees over playgrounds, damaged park furniture surrounds, debris around bus stops and shopping precinct frontages — cleared with public safety as priority one.
Drain inlets choked with leaf litter and silt, debris dams on creeks and culverts, post-event clean-up around basins — cleared with vac and crew support.
Reactive jobs raised by council parks teams, asset officers, facility managers and property managers between scheduled service visits.
From emergency tree works to vac excavation, traffic-managed road callouts and reactive grounds — all bundled under one account, one ops team, one set of paperwork.
Hazard removals, sectional dismantles, crown reductions and make-safe pruning by certified arborists with rigging, climbing and EWP capability.
Limbs, whole trees, leaf litter, silt and storm debris cleared, chipped or hauled offsite — followed by a tidy presentation pass.
TMP-compliant set-ups for road, kerb and footpath works — lane closures, taper plans and after-hours arrangements coordinated with the client.
Non-destructive digging around services for hazard-tree root work, storm-impacted utilities and reactive civil support — DBYD-led and crew-led.
Potable and non-potable water cartage for site wash-down, dust suppression, post-incident cleaning and reactive establishment water.
Unscheduled mowing, edging and tidy-ups when sites have been missed, inherited mid-cycle or impacted by event, weather or works.
Sight-line restoration, encroachment trimming, dangerous-limb removal and rapid weed knockdown on parks, verges and high-amenity public realm.
On-site arborist assessment, photos, GPS-tagged findings and short-form reports issued for the asset register, insurer or follow-up scope.

An ops controller takes the call, scopes the job, checks crew and equipment availability across the closest depot and dispatches a unit with the right kit — arborist, EWP, chipper, traffic management, vac or grounds. On site, crews follow a site-specific SWMS, document findings with photos and GPS, and close the loop with a short report so the asset owner, council or insurer has what they need for follow-up.
Every callout, even the urgent ones, runs to the same certified systems our scheduled council and commercial programmes run on.
Certified Quality, Environment and OH&S management systems — audited via SAI Global and ready to drop into a council or insurer pack.
Queensland Building & Construction Commission licensed; Queensland Arboricultural Association member — with certified arborists running reactive tree works.
Insurances scaled to public realm, civil and commercial reactive works — certificates of currency available on request.
Site-specific SWMS, JSEAs, TMPs and exclusion-zone set-ups for every reactive job — even the urgent ones don’t skip the paperwork.
Four operational depots covering the major SEQ markets — so reactive callouts don’t lose a half-day to travel before the first cone goes down.
