Project overview
About this Brisbane project.
Coordination and delivery of over 200 community planting events and maintenance programs across the Brisbane Region. Predominantly street tree planting works in conjunction with local residents and schools, creating shade corridors and walkable neighbourhoods within the urban environment.
This project is part of our arboriculture capability, delivered across the Arboriculture in Brisbane service area for Brisbane City Council.
Scope & highlights
What the job involved.
- Preparation of tree planting holes
- Community event coordination including WHS induction and issue of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Tree planting demonstration, team coordination and guidance during planting works
- Community barbecue and free plant giveaway program
- Post-planting activities including planting technique rectification, mulching, watering and staking
- 1 year maintenance aftercare
